I was born near Milan (Italy) in the spring of 1976.

I have a Computer Science degree taken at Università degli Studio di Milano in 2001. Since 2002 I work for Quinary Spa in the Knowledge Management area, mainly on European Community co-funded research projects.

My interests include Semantic Web, Information Retrieval, Information Extraction and Automatic Text Classification.

The paper we wrote about the KM tool we are developing at Quinary, won the Best Paper Award in the industrial track of the International Semantic Web Conference 2005:

Currently, at Quinary, I'm involved in the X-Media project, a 4 year IST 6th Framework project (started in March 2006) targeted at studing, developing and implementing large scale methodologies and techniques able to support sharing and reuse of knowledge distributed in different media.

Curiosity is a personal project that I'm doing for fun in my spare time.
